A Best Book of the Year 2016 by Kirkus Reviews, Little Chickies / Los Pollitos is a bilingual lift-the-flap board book that provides introductory lyrics to traditional Spanish nursery rhymes. One side of the book unfolds accordion-style with the Spanish lyrics and then flipping the book over is the translated English text. Others in the series include Las mañanitas, Un elefante se
balanceaba, and Mi burrito, in addition to some newer ones that have recently come out. There are places where the kids can pull tabs to make the books more interactive (i.e. make the chicks walk or eat food).
