Christmas is my favorite time of year, both for learning and enjoyment purposes. There are so many wonderful resources to use to expose children to the language and traditions of other cultures.
It is so important to remember the reason for the season, so one of my go-to books this year is from the popular Beginner's Bible series- a paperback version of the bilingual title, La noche que comenzo la Navidad / The Very First Christmas. I highly recommend this book for our youngest readers to introduce them to the story of Christ's birth. The text is side by side in Spanish and English, which provides great practice for non-native speakers.
Here are some other favorite resources for learning Spanish at Christmas-time!
