One of the most difficult parts of being a new Mom has been trying to get my children on a regular sleep routine. A regular bedtime schedule is one of the best things we can do for our little ones to keep them happy and healthy. Having books that can help explain the differences between daytime and nighttime, or particularly, what we might expect to do at night, are very helpful for placing our children in the right direction. My selected book for today is therefore a bilingual book by Pat Mora called "Sweet Dreams / ¡Dulces sueños!", containing vivid illustrations of both family members and baby animals preparing themselves for a peaceful night's sleep. Pages typically have one sentence per page in English alongside the Spanish translation. The book is a good choice for both infant and toddlers as well as those studying introductory English/Spanish.
