I came across this book written by Olly Richards at my local library, designed for older readers studying beginner's level and low intermediate Spanish. Eight stories are included, each of which has 3-4 chapters of 3-4 pages each. I found the readings very non-intimidating- they have bolded terms for vocabulary, and questions at end of each passage to check one's comprehension. Would probably make a great supplement for those taking Spanish in the higher grades of elementary school or those entering middle school. Also good for us parents who need to work on total immersion reading in Spanish ourselves! It's also available on Audible as an Audiobook for those needing to practice their listening comprehension!
