"A Lola le encantan los cuentos" captures the imagination of a little girl as she travels to faraway lands through the magic of reading with her family. Every Saturday, Lola and her father visit the library, where she finds a few books. The book then follows her through a week of different adventures she has, from becoming a princess, to repairing her house as a construction worker, to enjoying a cappuccino with a friend, and more. The illustrations capture the joy of what it feels to be a little girl with the opportunity to explore the big universe and do anything she imagines. I would highly recommend it and its companion book, Lola en la biblioteca, particularly as the theme surrounding these books is one we all have in common, the love of reading!
