Es dia de Accion de Gracias is a Spanish translation of a Bumba Books version originally published in English. I like how this book has questions for the kids to test their understanding spread throughout the text. New vocabulary could include la cosecha (harvest), recogerse (collect), el desfile (parade) and el pay de calabaza (pumpkin pie). I definitely plan to check out the many other holidays the series covers.
Feliz dia de Accion de Gracias is a bilingual book with very simple terminology and a single sentence per page (Spanish on top, English on the bottom), particularly concentrating on some of the yummy foods one might eat! Like the above book, the series covers some other holidays as well if one's interested!
